New website for an independent serviced apartment specialist offering a stylish alternative to boutique hotels.

For any modern-day tourism business, an effective web presence is vital in reaching your potential customers and communicating your brand position. That's why the project to rebrand Staying Cool focussed around its website as its primary customer touchpoint.
The inspiration for the company's new look was influenced largely by the contemporary style of the individually designed rooms within Staying Cool's apartments. Hemisphere created a series of patterns that reflect a selection of the wallpapers and furnishings in the apartments and used these consistently across the brand - as watermarks on stationery, as changeable backgrounds on the website or on the labels of toiletry bottles for example. The colour palette is made up of muted slate grey and stone colours with accents of bright, vibrant shades, again reflecting the interior style of the rooms.
For the website, we focused on creating a magazine feel that retained plenty of white space to mirror Staying Cool's purist approach to design, whilst emphasising the ethos of individuality by providing full details of each apartment including plenty of stunning interior photography. The site is built around a comprehensive content management system, giving the client precision control over its content and it has been integrated with an online booking engine to better service visitor requirements.
