East Manchester is an area of the city that has seen significant regeneration over the last 10 years.

Once an engine room of industry, East Manchester had fallen into decline until the turn of the century saw the beginning of a major investment programme. This once neglected part of the city is now an area of major opportunity, with new transport connections, next generation connectivity and world-beating sports facilities such as the City of Manchester stadium and the National Cycling Centre.

Hemisphere was charged with developing an overarching brand positioning for the area that would bring together a myriad of neighbourhoods and communities and convey the major selling points of the area to potential new residents and potential business relocators. The new brand was required to grace environmental branding such as site hoardings and lampost banners as well as being the driver behind the messaging and content of a new website for the area.

Hemisphere worked on the brand approach for the website in terms of both looka nd feel and content development, working with Code Computer Love as the builders of the site itself. All editorial content was produced by Hemisphere including a set of case studies from individuals and business who had relocated to the area.
