In despite of what Design Week Editor Lynda Relph-Knight claims to be the ‘toughest year in the history of the Design Week Top 100 Consultancy Survey’, Hemisphere has this year broken in to the Top 100 consultancies survey for the first time.
Hemisphere proudly came in at no.94 in the overall list and is one of only four Manchester agencies to feature in the top 100. This reflects another successful year for Hemisphere, with major projects including the rebranding of Manchester’s Metrolink light rail system, the launch of the redevelopment of Manchester Central Convention Complex and two exhibition design projects for Imperial War Museum North, to name but a few.
As well as featuring in the main chart, Hemisphere featured at no.12 in the ‘Growth in fee-income’ list, and =8th in the ‘Leapfroggers’ list, recognising it as one of the consultancies that has moved up the most positions from the previous survey in 2009, where it featured at 114.
