Another IWMN pitch win for Hemisphere

10 December 2009

Following a four-way pitch for the design of this major new retrospective, Hemisphere has beaten off the competion to win our 10th exhibition project at the iconic Daniel Libeskind-designed museum in Manchester.

The exhibition will cover the remarkable story of Don McCullin’s life travelling the war zones of the world, as well as tracing the developent of photojournalism  from post-Second World War to the present day. A book on McCullin’s life and work, Shaped by War, will be published to tie in with the exhibition which opens on 4 February 2010.

In a second four-way pitch, Hemisphere was also awarded the work on the exhibition's marketing campaign, which will encompass direct mail, online and outdoor advertising.

Following its stint in Manchester, the exhibition will tour to Bath and Imperial War Museum in London, with Hemisphere's exhibtion and campaign design carrying across to both locations.
