Still in its Prime

28 October 2010

Hemisphere has published the latest edition of Prime magazine, a guide to the best of the North West’s culture and countryside.

Aimed at encouraging tourists from outside the region to consider the North West as a great location for a cultural short break, Prime is published by the North West Development Agency with input from the five tourist boards for Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, Lancashire & Cumbria.

Hemisphere devised the concept for Prime back in 2007 and continues to research, copywrite, commission photography for and design the magazine. Its success in delivering tangible results for the NWDA has helped Prime win two major awards, including a bronze DBA Design Effectiveness Award in 2008 and a International Publishing Gold Award in 2009.

The current edition focuses on specific Northwest cultural highlights for Autumn 2010, including the Liverpool Biennale and the Manchester Weekender. Over 100,000 copies of the magazine are distributed to a targeted database of cultural visitors as well as being distributed in key cultural locations in the South East, Scotland and in other major cities outside the Northwest.
